Feb. 26, 2010 - PRLog -- Detroit, MI - After an eight-hour shift at the Chrysler auto plant, Homer would jump right into his customers’ job requests.  Homer Ferguson was known throughout the gravel hauling industry as both dependable and honest.  He often entered into a contract with a smile and a handshake.  His word and handshake was enough to seal the deal.  The jobs were completed and his employees got paid.

In 1993 Homer’s son, Bobby Ferguson, after years of following in his father’s footsteps, became responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations.  Expanding upon his father’s vision, Bobby Ferguson changed the company’s name to Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in May 2009.
