By: LUKS Promotions Baker’s new ‘Scone In’ campaign. A ‘Scone In’ involves getting a group of friends or loved one’s together and enjoying some quality time with each other while eating scones. These comical, low budget videos were filmed and produced by the four students as part of their final year project. Oliver Durkin, Brand Manager for Pat the Baker said “We envisioned the idea of a scone in months ago but the DkIT students helped us in pushing the idea forward and have created some brilliant videos that capture our vision of a ‘Scone In’ perfectly.” The students who are set to graduate this year from the first ever Public Relations, honours degree course available in Ireland said “We’ve been given a great opportunity to work with such a successful, well known Irish company and we’re excited to work in conjunction with Pat the Baker on such interesting campaigns.” The videos are available online this week and can be viewed on www.youtube.com/ Pat the Baker is one of Irelands leading bread manufacturers and employs more than 400 people nationwide. During this expansion the level of employment provided by the company has grown and now the company provides employment, through direct employees and self-employed agents, to over 400 people.In 1996 the company moved to Moxham Street, Granard, Co Longford, which now serves as a modern corporate headquarters.
