Manali is a hotbed for adventurers who desire to showcase their skill of skiing, mountaineering, trekking, mountain biking and lot more. The summer retreat is situated at an altitude of 2050 meters, on the central parts of Himachal Pradesh. It offers its sightseers the wonderful glimpse of Arjun Gufa, Hadimba temple, Jagatshuk, Kothi, Manu temple, Buddhist monasteries and the cascading falls of Rahala.

Mount Abu:

Located in the southern tip of the Aravali range, Mount Abu is an oasis in the barren Rajasthan. It is the highest point between the Nilgiris in the south and Himalayan range to the north. The hill-station is known for the majestic beauty of Dilwara Jain temples, the origin of which date back between 11th to 13th centuries. Other places of visit are Adhar Devi Temple, Sunset Point, Honeymoon Point, Ashok Vatika, Guru Shikar and Raj Bhavan.

Nainital:

Greatly known as the Lake District of India, Nainital is one of the major tourist hub in Uttarakhand. The most popular Naini Lake is such kind that it allures visitors to experience boating and soak in pleasant hours. The beauty of Nainital is not just associated with evergreen hills, lakes but also with some Hindu mythology. Bhim Tal, Naina Peak, Snow View Point, St. John's Church are some remarkable place of visit.

Shimla:

Shimla sounds soothing, when to comes to traveling hill-stations in North India. Sonamarg:

Popularly known as 'The Meadows of Gold' Sonamarg is one of the charming destination in Kashmir. It is situated at an height of 2, 740m and is a trekkers paradise. One can hardly afford to miss out the spectacular view of Bisansar Lake and Krishnasar Lake nourishing the hill-station. Adventure seekers can explore the trekking route to Nichnai Pass and feast their eyes with the breathtaking overview of lakes like Vishansar, Krishansar and Gangabal.
Other note-worthy hill-stations in North India are Gangotri, Kullu, Mussoorie, Khajjiar, Chail and Badrinath.
