A prominent online seller of blinds and home wares, Terrys Fabrics, has just announced the spreading out of their online business publically; they are going to launch three other websites to facilitate their online sales. According to the plan, this added group of websites should be able to make a sub-brand that will eventually support the increase in the sales of Terrys Fabrics website.
At the initial stage, these websites will promote the sale of a limited variety of home appliances, together with different types of curtains, curtain poles and blinds. Whereas, in the long run, there will be more chances of building another huge network of a number of websites that will support the main website.
The plan, which has been going through a number of phases in the last few months, is coming to an end with its first website launch in the month of October 2009, and the rest of the websites are waiting to be launched shortly after the launch of the first. This launch of freshly-built websites is anticipated to bring enormous profits during Christmas time, which is apparently the best time of the year to make huge profits for the interior design or home ware trade.
It is only Christmas of 2010 when the company is expecting the supplementary websites to pay dividends, as it will take a good 12 months for the sites to bear fruit, even considering the upcoming high season for sales.
