Core Concepts Physiotherapy Centre is the first physiotherapy centre in Asia to be accredited as a SpineCor Physiotherapy centre with four specially trained physiotherapists. SpineCor physiotherapy programme are designed to complement the action of the SpineCor brace, a flexible dynamic brace designed for the treatment of idiopathic scoliosis.
According to Sylvia Ho, a principal physiotherapist with Core Concepts, “Together with the brace, SpineCor physiotherapy allows us a more aggressive approach towards the management of scoliosis.” Ho is one of the four physiotherapists accredited as SpineCor Physiotherapists.

SpineCor brace was developed by The SpineCorporation Limited as a non-surgical treatment alternative to idiopathic scoliosis. In Singapore, scoliosis afflicts approximately 2-3% of the population, with a higher prevalence amongst girls. Scoliosis is the outcome of a progressive 3D deformation of the spine.
