Two Cultural Institutions from Madrid Awarded in Portugal for Promoting Iberian Art

PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 06, 2009 – The Fine Arts Magazine Niram Art, founded in Madrid by the painter Romeo Niram, won the Mac’2009 Press Award for its commitment to “promoting  contemporary artists in the Iberian Peninsula”, says Mr. Alvaro Lobato de Faria, founder of MAC Lisboa.

Romeo Niram received a second award for his personal involvement in various artistic and cultural fields, from art to literature, theatre, music, both with Niram art Magazine and also in Espacio Niram, a cultural venue opened last year in Madrid.

The PR Agency Defeses Fine Arts was distinguished with the MAC’2009 Cultural Promotion Award and the founder of the agency, the cultural journalist Eva Defeses, received the Trophy Mac’ Cultural Journalism  for building a bridge between Portuguese and Spanish arts.
