This sleepy little surf village that originally started as a fishing village, is treasured firstly for it's year round waves for surfing and boogie boarding. The surf in Dominical is considered by surfers the world over, as World Class. The number one attraction in Domincal is the beach and ocean.

As of late, the popularity amongst Hollywood-ites for Costa Rica is increasing at an exponential rate thanks in part to the recent filming of the live reality show on NBC, "I'm a Celebrity. Get me out of here!"
