It was a member of the Jackson Family composed by 7 brothers. His debut was at age 11 being part of the so called Jackson 5, he later began his solo career in 1971, still being part of the Jackson 5 musical group. Most of the world knew him as the “king of pop”. Due to his talent, five of his albums became world’s best-selling records. When his popular videos came out; Beat It, Thriller and Billie Jean were responsible for changing pop videos into an artistic expression and massive marketing tool that was used hand in hand with MTV’s popularity. Other MTV videos such “Scream” and “Black and White” made Michael Jackson growing root on the Musical Television “MTV” channel in the 90’s. His great stage performance involved famous moves such as the robot, moonwalk and crotch grab. His distinctive sound influenced other musical genres like R&B and Hip Hop.
Michael Jackson was able to donate millions of US dollars to beneficiaries throughout his foundation and supported thirty-nine charities.  Some of his personal decisions such as changing skin color generated large controversy and creating a negative result on his image.
