A new Bonnie and Clyde's movie project is currently being shopped around.
The semi-biographical script titled "Parker and Barrow" was written by young screenwriter Jordan Tate and has been called a splendid portrayal of the famous outlaws and a thrilling mixture
of passion and danger, with many twists and turns.
"Parker and Barrow" presents Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow's story in a new light, and starts
with the poverty-filled childhood of the two heroes, the script also includes a fictional
gripping subplot involving a honest policeman’s doubts regarding the culpability of the pair in all their alleged robberies. Trying to survive in a world of corruption, this unexpected ally races
against the clock to try and save Bonnie and Clyde from their inevitable tragic destiny.
In a letter recently sent to Faye Dunaway's agent, screenwriter Jordan Tate, also
stated her admiration for the actress who makes this true life outlaw a movie legend:
she says: " A short time ago, I watched your performance as Bonnie Parker in the legendary film by Arthur Penn, and I thought your portrayal was a perfect mixture of sensuality and reservation and superbly depicted Bonnie Parker’s lust for life and love. I watched the movie prior to writing the script. I deeply wanted to let you know that your Bonnie Parker has been a
great source of inspiration to me.
This new Bonnie and Clyde's project is not related to to Tonya S. Holly‘s
« the story of Bonnie and Clyde ».
