May 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Currently, approximately 50% of homes which are listed by REALTORS in Winnipeg,  are being sold immediately, and for more-than-asking price, as multiple offers have returned to Winnipeg.

Bo Kauffmann, a top producing REALTOR with Winnipeg's largest and most successful Re/Max office, (Re/Max Performance Realty), points to a very recent example:

    "I listed a house in Fort Richmond.  We expected to get around 20 showings, but at the end, the home was shown a total of 42 times.  Of those, 35 REALTORS showed it to their clients, and 7 people called me directly and saw it with me."

    The key to receiving a lot of showings is ADVERTISING.  The more people know that your home is for sale, the more will come to see it.  This is why Bo advertises all his listings in a variety of magazines, newspapers and now on television as well.  In addition, he has the ability to produce a "Virtual Tour" at no extra cost, as he owns his own camera equipment for this task.

   But here is the key:  By listing their home with a Realtor, the owners received very serious offers, and 4 of them were completely unconditional.  Bo explains:  "The most serious buyers are already working with a REALTOR.  Many of these buyers have lost opportunities in the past, and understand what the market is like, and so when they like a home, they come to the table with serious, clean offers."
