Proposal to Fight Unemployment Not Accepted by Obama Team

Last week, the founders of www.ShirtsMyWay.com contacted President Obama and his staff with a proposal to help fight the rapidly growing unemployment rate soaring over 8.1%. The idea was to take a small portion of the bailout money or stimulus package and use it to give out free dress shirts that are well suited for job interviews.

When Obama and his staff decided not to accept this proposal, www.ShirtsMyWay.com decided to launch its own campaign. Starting from March 30th, www.ShirtsMyWay.com is giving away free custom dress shirts for job interviews until the last week of May 2009. The free job interview shirt is customized to requests and is made according the person’s measurement to ensure best possible fit. The founders say:

"We want to help people looking for jobs in these though times. Although being well dressed at a job interview may only be a small factor in what is need to land a job, giving away free dress shirts is how we’ve decided to contribute."
