ELT News, Japan’s most popular website for English teachers is celebrating its second decade by giving away a brand new MacBook from Apple. “Those ten years went quickly,” said Russell Willis, president of eigoTown.com Limited which owns the site, “but I’m delighted to say that ELT News enters its second decade with the strongest group of contributors ever, including many of the world’s most famous ELT authors. More than ever, ELT News has everything for someone teaching English in Japan.”
Since its launch ten years ago, ELT News has become the most popular website for English Language Teaching (ELT) professionals in Japan. The site features daily news on the ELT industry and profession, an events calendar, message boards, teaching tips, book reviews, interviews, a busy section advertising teaching jobs and many fascinating columns from some of the world’s most popular ELT authors. The site also includes the “Think Tank” column in which famous ELT authors tackle a teaching issue together. The website is edited by David Paul, a popular lecturer on teaching English, and author of the best-selling Finding Out course book, which has sold over 2 million copies.
The competition to win the MacBook starts on Valentine’s Day (February 14th) and closes on March 14th. It is open to those resident in Japan and can be entered by using an online form at the ELT News website. www.eltnews.com
