Prague, November17th, 2008:  Skrivanek Translation & Localization Services, a top-class global language solution provider with its headquarters based in the Czech Republic, set a new pace at last week’s largest technical documentation fair in Europe: tekom conference in Wiesbaden, Germany. It presented new technologies and new methods for translations and featured a presentation in the official conference program on the future of the translation market.

West-European markets gave a forecast on what new tendencies to expect, as well as on the development of technologies in the translation industry: “As analysts agree, the volume of documents for translation will increase within the next ten years.

Furthermore, Skrivanek exhibited in the business area of the tekom conference, where it presented a wide range of linguistic and technical services to all participants of the event. This year more than 180 companies exhibited at the tekom conference, where they presented software and services related to the production and the management of technical documentation and information. All visitors’ records and presentation attendance records were broken; tekom organizers recorded more than 2000 participants, a 25% increase from the previous conference.
