Monitor Audio and Ozzy team up for charity at Classic Rock Awards 2008

Oct. 29, 2008 - PRLog -- On the night Monitor Audio will be showcasing some very distinctive loudspeakers On November 3rd 2008, Classic Rock magazine will present the Roll of Honour Awards hosted by living legend, Ozzy Osborne. The prestigious award event will bring together some of the biggest names in the rock music industry to celebrate their musical achievements.
– a pair of bespoke Platinum PL300s. Not only do these multi-award winning loudspeakers deliver awesome sound but, these special editions will also be contributing to a very worthy charitable cause.
Hand-painted by an award winning airbrush artist, the PL300's already striking looks have been enhanced dramatically to suit the occasion. With each loudspeaker taking up to 100 hours to paint in glorious rock' n' roll livery, these speakers are truly unique and nothing will come close to the musical and visual assault that the PL300's can deliver!
During the evening, the custom built speakers will be autographed by every artist attending the Awards making them a truly extraordinary and individual piece of rock memorabilia.
After the event the PL300's will be auctioned at a special Classic Rock event with all the proceeds going to children's charity Childline.
