Seaside Wireless Communications continues the growth of its Rural Broadband Network across Nova Scotia. Communities in Baddeck, Hunter's Mountain, Middle River, Big Harbour, Aberdeen and beyond are available for Service from Seaside High Speed.

Seaside Connects More Communities with High Speed Wireless Internet
ACTIVATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Seaside Wireless Communications Inc, a partner with the Municipality of Victoria County and the Province of Nova Scotia, is pleased to announce the availability of high speed internet to a new set of communities.

The following communities in Victoria County and surrounding area are now able to receive high speed internet – Big Baddeck, Baddeck Forks, Baddeck Bridge, Big Farm, Southside Baddeck River, Westside Middle River, and  Hunters Mountain. Also included in second set of communities are Seal Island, Ross Ferry, New Harris Forks, New Harris Road, Beinn Scalpie Cape Dauphin, and New Campellton.
The list continues: Gold Brook, Rear Forks, New Glen, Big Hill, Rear Big Hill, Kempt Head, Hunters Mountain, Baddeck Inlet, South Cove, Nyanza, Middle River, Westside Middle River and Yankee Line, Ross Ferry, Big Harbour, Plaister Mines and Saint Patrick’s Channel.
“The list continues to grow”, states Adam Conter, Communications Director for Seaside, of the communities coming online. “We are very happy with the progress”.
“Phase 3 of Victoria County’s Broadband Project is a partnership with Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation/ACOA, Seaside Communications and the Municipality of Victoria County “,says Warden Wayne Budge, Municipality of Victoria County. The goal of the project is to provide high speed internet to twenty-five plus communities, enabling Victoria County to be the most connected rural county anywhere in North America.
Seaside Wireless is also partner on the Broadband for Rural Nova Scotia Network and has been actively working to bring High Speed Internet to its region of the province, from Cumberland to the northern tip of Victoria.
“It is a positive sign that we are now able to sign up residents for service and that construction of the network is near completion,” says Mac Fuller, Seaside Wireless Project Manager for Victoria County. Fuller states Seaside wants to provide the most reliable and robust network possible in Victoria County and across its region of the province.
