June 5, 2007 - PRLog -- June 5, 2007 – http://www.SetSteveFree.com started this month when a divorced father of one from Southeast South Dakota decided to sell his soul on the Internet offering “I Set Steve Free Certificates” to certify the purchase of his soul.

A Piece of Steve’s Soul is selling for $2.99.  His website contains a personal letter, FAQ’s, instructions on how to purchase your very own “I Set Steve Free Certificate”, and an option to subscribe to his personal mailing list and stay updated on his progress.

The touching part of the story is what he’s trying to accomplish.  After some poor decisions led Steve into a financial mess, he’s reaching out to good-hearted people through the Internet to ask for help and secure a better life for his 5 year old son.  Instead of just asking for handouts, Steve decided to try and add humor to people’s lives by selling certificates that confirm purchases made on his website and display personalized recognition when someone purchases a piece of his soul.

Steve began receiving money the very first day he launched his website and his efforts are gaining the attention of the media with stories of his website beginning to pop up throughout the Internet.
