Spooky Ventures is continuing their string of short, silent, 1920s styled films by looking to horror author H.P. Lovecraft for inspiration. "The Statement of Randolph Carter," the second pseudo-vintage film from Spooky Ventures is live on Youtube.

Maybe the last thing you would expect in 2025 is a series of silent short horror films. That's just what Spooky Ventures has begun, though. "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" hit YouTube as the first in a series.

"AI Tales: A Collection of Artificial Intelligence Stories" is a new collection of stories from Northern Illinois publisher Tales of Wonder and Dread. The book, as the subtitle suggests, features fiction about Artificial Intelligence.

"Invasive Species: Suffering Sequence: Book Three" will be published on February 29th. A book collecting all three entries in the trilogy will be released simultaneously. The books are by Elizabeth Lynn Blackson, who designed the covers to both books.
