When candidates were asked to pick the most important factor when choosing a new job surprisingly 'Pay' came in last. With only 9 per cent of the vote, pay followed 'Prospects', 'Working environment/company' and leading the way by a long way, 'Location'.
Everybody wants to know if their salary is fair. Most people think they should earn more, but this conviction is based mainly on subjective feelings. People don’t like talking about their salaries, not even with their family members or friends.
