Producer, Actor and Animal Welfare Activist Grillo Is the Founder of D.E.L.T.A. Rescue, and Is Releasing ZYZZYX ROAD, MAGIC and the Documentary THE RESCUER
With just one week left for public comment, a global conservation group has taken its mission to save the endangered Santa Clara River around the planet and into the streets.
Southern Californians have until March 17 to express their concerns about or oppose the Newhall Ranch Resource Management and Development Plan to build a massive community along the banks of the endangered Santa Clara River.
On Tuesday, March 2, 2010, actor Grand L. Bush appealed to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to help save the imperiled Santa Clara River from rampant urban sprawling.
"...when I realized that people only keep their dogs on a national average of two-and-a-half years, and after a favorite dog of mine was destroyed a year following her adoption, I slammed the door on it all," explains Grillo.
“It's really about large corporations that are connected to wealthy politicians," said actor/animal welfare activist Leo Grillo. "They get the leases from the BLM and then sub-lease them to cattle ranchers for lots more money."
