The first floor of the Miller building of the Health Department is said to have mold. Employees were told to occupy the second and third floors while the county officials are helping to search for a new building for the relocation.
Mold is possibly growing in Hillsdale College but the school administration told the students to stay calm. Safety precautions were already done to ensure safety and stay away from mold and other environmental toxins
Just to give the parents a sigh of relief and assurance, the Montgomery Elementary School will conduct a weekly air quality test. This is to make sure that no mold will harm the students after the school was flooded.
Parents are worried because of the mold contamination in Sixth Ward Middle School. Students and teachers were said to show symptoms of mold-related illnesses. The school officials are doing their best to resolve the problem immediately.
The Chicago Police Academy has a complaint over mold in their building. The Fraternal Order of Police filed the grievance and according to their spokesperson, mold is visibly seen in some of the things in the building including the carpeting.
