Enkaytech Helps Insurance Company Reduce Azure Cloud Waste by 35%

LISLE, Ill. - Sept. 29, 2026 - PRLog -- An insurance and financial services organization knew its Azure bill was growing. What it couldn't easily see was why.

As different teams added cloud resources, unused and oversized workloads became harder to spot. Enkaytech used its FinOps tool to show where the money was going and which costs the organization could address. Within one month, the organization reduced Azure cloud waste by 35%.

"Cloud costs become difficult to control when teams cannot see what is driving them," said Jaidev Kunjur, Director at Enkaytech. "This engagement gave the organization a clearer picture of its Azure spending and a practical way to act on the opportunities it found."

The numbers made the problem tangible: the review found 34 idle virtual machines, 12 oversized VM families, and eight unused disks. We also found that 40% of resources lacked key tags, making it harder to tell which team or project was responsible for the cost. These were places to investigate, make changes, and keep waste from building up again.
