| ![]() Squaawke Music Archive Expands to 187 Tracks, with Automatic Preservation of New ReleasesA living archive of original music, alternate versions and human–AI collaboration
That comes to roughly one new song per day from March through September 2026. The archive no longer has to catch up with the work; it moves with it. The archive has also become a living system. New Squaawke music is now added automatically as it is released, eliminating the gap between publication and preservation. At the time of this announcement, the archive contains 187 tracks. That number is expected to become outdated. "This is not a greatest-hits page," said Squaawke founder Craig Ellenwood. "It is the actual trajectory—the finished work, the experiments, the versions that changed direction and the collaborations that produced something none of us would have made alone. If you preserve only the final answer, you lose the path that made it possible." Ellenwood founded the music element of Burning Man in 1992, establishing its first sound camp and DJs. His subsequent work has included touring and creative collaborations involving Psychic TV, Timothy Leary, Moby, Robert Anton Wilson, members of The Smiths and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, along with electronic-music production in Goa during the formative period of psychedelic trance. https://youtu.be/ Squaawke is the present continuation of that history: a recording project crossing post-punk, trip-hop, techno, psychedelic trance, folk, devotional music, spoken word and songs produced in multiple languages. When a new track is released through the connected music pipeline, it is added automatically to the public archive with its title, date, artwork and playable audio. The archive therefore remains synchronized with the working catalog without requiring a separate manual update. Haawke Neural Technology developed the infrastructure connecting music production, publication and preservation. Haawke builds multimodal creative systems, persistent AI-memory architecture and cryptographic provenance tools intended to make human–AI work attributable, inspectable and portable across platforms.r. "We do not want to be immortal," Ellenwood said. "We do strive to be continuous. Music makes the distinction easy to hear."
