B. Ebenezer Completes Term as Scout Secretary of VSSS, Moves Into Class XII

CHENNAI, India - Sept. 8, 2026 - PRLog -- B. Ebenezer has completed his designated tenure as Scout Secretary of Vijayanta Senior Secondary School (VSSS), Avadi, following the conclusion of his service period and his transition into Class XII under the CBSE curriculum.

The completion of the tenure marks a scheduled change in the student leadership structure of the school's Scout and Guide activities. Ebenezer's period in office has now formally come to an end, with the position moving forward as part of the regular succession of student leadership within the institution.

His tenure coincided with his continued progress in Scouting, including his achievement of the Rajyapuraskar, one of the significant stages of advancement within the Bharat Scouts and Guides.

During his period of service, Scout and Guide activities provided students with opportunities to participate in programmes involving community service, environmental awareness, cleanliness and civic responsibility.

Among the wider activities involving young volunteers was a cleanliness and environmental initiative at Avadi Railway Station, in which more than 120 Scouts and Guides participated. Ebenezer's period as Scout Secretary thus formed part of a wider student leadership experience in which responsibilities were carried out alongside his academic and Scout commitments.

The change is not being treated as a resignation from office. Instead, it represents the completion of the designated service period attached to the student leadership position and the normal succession process through which responsibilities are passed on to the next student leadership team.

The transition also comes as he continues his journey as a Rajyapuraskar Scout and moves into the final academic year of his school education. The combination of Scout training and student leadership has provided him with experience in teamwork, organisation and community participation.

The school Scout and Guide programme will continue under its existing structure following the completion of the outgoing secretary's tenure. The next student leadership team will take forward the responsibilities associated with the position and continue the programme's activities.

As the new academic phase begins, B. Ebenezer's tenure as Scout Secretary of Vijayanta Senior Secondary School formally stands concluded, bringing an end to his period in the student leadership office and beginning a new phase focused on Class XII academics and his continuing interests in youth service and community initiatives.

The transition reflects the principle of leadership through succession — one student completing a period of responsibility and another taking forward the work. For VSSS, it represents the continuation of its Scout and Guide leadership structure; for Ebenezer, it marks the completion of an important chapter of his school leadership journey.
