EGBATT Expands Commercial Energy Storage Portfolio with 30-70kW Hybrid Inverter Platform

DONGGUAN, China - Sept. 2, 2026 - PRLog -- EGBATT Energy Co., Ltd. has introduced a 30kW-70kW commercial hybrid inverter platform for commercial and industrial solar-plus-storage projects. The product range is designed to coordinate solar PV, high-voltage battery storage, utility power and protected loads within one three-phase energy management system.

The platform includes a 30kW model for 120/208V electrical service and 40kW, 50kW, 60kW and 70kW models for 277/480V systems. This model-specific approach helps system designers match the inverter to a facility's existing service voltage without adapting equipment intended for residential applications.

Each model provides four MPPT trackers and eight PV inputs for commercial arrays with different orientations or string layouts. Depending on the model, maximum PV input power ranges from 60kW to 100kW. The inverter supports a 150-850V high-voltage battery range, dual 100A battery channels and CAN or RS485 communication for compatible battery management systems.

For facilities that require backup power, the EPS output offers a transfer time of less than 20 milliseconds when the inverter, battery and protected-load panel are correctly engineered. The system also supports AC coupling, time-of-use scheduling, peak shaving, export limitation, 100% unbalanced output, remote monitoring and optional generator integration.

The IP66 enclosure is intended for flexible commercial installation environments. Up to six matching units can be operated in parallel, subject to project engineering, communications and protection requirements. This gives installers and project developers a path to scale inverter power as site demand grows.

Typical applications include warehouses, workshops, farms, offices, retail buildings, schools, community facilities and generator-assisted microgrids. By combining solar self-consumption, load shifting and critical-load backup, the platform can help businesses make better use of on-site solar generation and reduce exposure to grid interruptions. Actual savings and backup duration depend on the site's tariff, measured load profile, PV array, battery capacity and operating strategy.
