Among the upgrades, the bedroom's window-type air conditioner has been replaced with a split-type unit that can be controlled remotely via Wi-Fi. "We wanted this renovation to solve real problems our tenants have mentioned over the years, not just make the unit look newer," said Jan Michael Buyco, co-owner of J & A Rental Properties. "The Wi-Fi backup in particular came directly from feedback about power interruptions affecting work calls. Small details like that make a bigger difference to daily life than people expect."
