![]() Swiss Built Careerkit Passes 20,000 Users as It Expands Its Focus on the Local Job MarketBy: careekit Careerkit, a career and job search platform built in Switzerland by founder Nishant Modi, has surpassed 20,000 users globally and is adding more than 2,000 new users each month as it expands its focus on the Swiss employment market. Careerkit began with Modi's personal experience. In late 2024, he found himself back in the job market and faced frustrations familiar to many job seekers. Finding suitable roles, tailoring resumes, preparing applications and tracking opportunities required multiple separate tools. Modi decided to build the platform he wanted for his own job search. The first version of Careerkit was developed within weeks and launched in January 2025. The company is based in Zurich, Switzerland. A Growing Swiss Job Search Platform Careerkit currently lists 64,506 live jobs across Switzerland, with listings updated daily. Users can search by job, company, keyword, city or region and filter results by job type, contract type, experience and language. The platform covers major Swiss cities and regions, including Zurich, Bern, Basel, Geneva, Lausanne, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Zug. Listings span sectors including healthcare, engineering, construction, manufacturing, technology, finance, education, sales and customer service. Careerkit is available in German, French and English, reflecting Switzerland's multilingual employment market. It also provides access to English-speaking jobs in Switzerland, supporting international professionals seeking opportunities where English is the working language. Career Tools for Job Seekers Careerkit combines job discovery with tools designed to support candidates throughout the application process. These include a Resume Builder, Cover Letter Builder, Job Tracker and AI Headshots, along with Career Link and other free career resources. The Resume Builder helps users create and tailor resumes for specific positions, while the Cover Letter Builder supports application preparation. The Job Tracker helps candidates organize applications and monitor their progress, while AI Headshots provides an option for creating professional profile images. The platform also offers resume templates, cover letter resources, career assessments and other practical tools. Supporting the Modern Job Search Alongside job listings, Careerkit publishes monthly job market reports, career-focused blog content and free resources designed to help candidates navigate different stages of their job search. "I built Careerkit because I needed a better way to manage my own job search," said Nishant Modi, Founder of Careerkit. "When I was looking for work, I wanted one place where I could find opportunities, prepare my applications and keep track of the process. That personal experience became the starting point for Careerkit." Careerkit continues to develop its Swiss job search platform while expanding its career tools and resources for its growing global user base. End
