Boardsy Publishes Trade Show Display Lighting Guide for UK Exhibitors

CHICHESTER, U.K. - Aug. 24, 2026 - PRLog -- Boardsy, a UK supplier of LED display furniture and branded signage for exhibitions and events, has published new guidance for exhibitors on using lighting to improve stand performance at trade shows.

The guide addresses a common problem raised by exhibitors: visitors frequently decide whether to approach a stand before reading any of its signage, relying instead on peripheral cues picked up from several aisles away. Lit elements are shown to catch that attention more reliably than printed graphics alone.

The guidance covers a range of supplied products including LED reception desks (https://boardsy.co.uk/product/led-reception-desk/) and standing light boxes (https://boardsy.co.uk/product/custom-led-standing-light-box/) for stand entrances, raised lectern displays (https://boardsy.co.uk/product/led-lectern-display/) for product demonstrations, 360 degree cylinder displays for stands with multi-directional footfall, and lit benches (https://boardsy.co.uk/product/led-bench-light-box/) for visitor seating areas.

"Lighting is one of the highest leverage changes a stand can make without a full redesign," the guide states, recommending exhibitors layer smaller pieces from the custom LED furniture range (https://boardsy.co.uk/product-category/custom-led-furnitu...) around a single larger anchor item rather than concentrating an entire budget on one piece.

The full guide is available at boardsy.co.uk (https://boardsy.co.uk/trade-show-display-lighting-ideas/). Boardsy offers free mock-ups on all enquiries via its free mock-up tool (https://boardsy.co.uk/get-free-mockup/) and trade pricing on orders over £1,000.
