PRINCETON, N.J. - Aug. 23, 2026 - PRLog -- PRINCETON, N.J. — BANC3, Inc. is highlighting Safedrop™, an AI-driven operational support platform designed to improve safety, accuracy and consistency during aircraft rigging and aerial-delivery operations. Built for complex, time-sensitive environments, the system digitizes and standardizes workflows for personnel performing safety-critical rigging tasks.

Safedrop™ applies AI-based guidance, validation and workflow intelligence throughout the rigging process. The platform is designed to deliver step-by-step instructions, support error checking and help operators carry out procedures more consistently. An optional augmented reality layer adds heads-up visual cues and real-time verification where hands-free guidance is useful.

The software-driven application is compatible with smart glasses, smartphones, tablets and laptops. This device-flexible design supports deployment across different operational settings and allows organizations to select interfaces that fit their equipment, connectivity and workflow requirements.

Development of Safedrop™ builds on a U.S. Army Small Business Innovation Research Phase II award announced by BANC3 on January 22, 2025. The Army-focused effort tailored the technology to cargo rigging and was designed to help non-expert soldiers follow rigging procedures while reducing dependence on specialized parachute riggers for every task.

System elements described for that effort included an on-premises server with a local Wi-Fi network for content management and data storage, Tracker Anchor Point markers for situations in which computer-vision detection is not feasible, and mixed-reality headsets for rigging experts and operators. BANC3 also identified remote expert support, reusable expert-created rigging content and task verification as parts of the operational approach.

Aircraft rigging and aerial delivery can involve manually intensive processes, separate systems and limited digital validation. Safedrop™ addresses those gaps by bringing procedural guidance, verification and digital workflows into one operational platform. BANC3 describes the technology as a DoD-validated solution developed for mission-critical use across defense bases, logistics units, security teams and rigging operations.

By combining AI guidance with optional AR visualization, Safedrop™ is designed to help teams improve repeatability without limiting the system to a single display device. The approach supports both guided execution and the creation of standardized digital content that can be reused across training and operational workflows.
