Chris Harden Unveils 11 Priorities for Georgia's 11th District in "Fair Deal" Agenda

WOODSTOCK, Ga. - Aug. 20, 2026 - PRLog -- Chris Harden, candidate for Congress in Georgia's 11th Congressional District, unveiled his "Fair Deal for Working Families: 11 Priorities for the 11th District," focused on lowering costs, strengthening healthcare, creating good-paying jobs and increasing accountability in Washington.

"Working families are doing everything right — working hard, raising their kids, paying their bills and trying to build a better future — but Washington keeps making it harder to get ahead," Harden said. "If you work hard and play by the rules, you deserve a fair shot at the American Dream."

Harden's 11 priorities include:

1. Healthcare That Puts Patients Over Profits — Make healthcare more affordable, lower prescription costs and expand rural access.

2. A Tax Cut for Our Middle Class — Provide targeted tax relief while requiring corporations and the wealthiest Americans to pay their fair share.

3. Get Corporate Money Out of Politics — Reject corporate PAC money and increase campaign-finance transparency.

4. Lower Costs, Raise Wages — Protect workers, farmers and consumers while supporting higher wages.

5. Ban Congressional Stock Trading — Prohibit public officials and their immediate families from trading individual stocks.

6. Demand Real Transparency in Washington — Increase government transparency and accountability.

7. Clean Up Congress — Establish a lifetime lobbying ban for former members and an age limit of 80.

8. Ban Partisan Gerrymandering — Create independent redistricting commissions for fairer elections.

9. Crack Down on Price Gouging — Strengthen protections against abusive and AI-driven pricing practices.

10. Responsible Oversight of Data Center Development — Protect natural resources, encourage local jobs and limit costs to utility customers.

11. Invest in Clean Energy and Infrastructure — Invest in affordable energy, modernize infrastructure and expand housing opportunities.

Harden said the agenda is designed to restore economic opportunity and make the American Dream attainable for another generation.

"I grew up in a trailer park in Rossville, Georgia," Harden said. "I know what the American Dream can mean to a working family because I lived it."
