PRLog -- Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) is recognized as India's
first Greenfield Smart City because it is a self-sustaining ecosystem built from the ground up, specifically designed to integrate advanced manufacturing, digital governance, and sustainable urban living. Developed under the

- Scale and Planning: The project spans a massive 920 sq. km., covering 22 villages. Its development is guided by six sanctioned Town Planning Schemes (TPS) to ensure phased and organized growth.
- Connectivity and Logistics: The city is being linked to Ahmedabad via a 6-lane Expressway and a Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) corridor. Additionally, the Dholera Greenfield International Airport is currently under construction to support global logistics and transport.
