Sharon Pinkenson Chosen as Philly Girl Top 40 Winner

PHILADELPHIA - Aug. 18, 2026 - PRLog -- RAZ Productions, an award-winning book publisher, announced on https://phillygirlbook.com/ Sharon Pinkenson as the winner of the 4-week search for a "True Philly Girl." Philly locals were invited to nominate themselves or others who met the qualifications of: 1) Being raised in the Philly area and 2) Contributed something positive to change the world. She would be described as a trailblazer, a voice for justice, or an advocate.

Among the nominees were CEOs, entertainers, philanthropists, attorneys, writers and activists. Author Ranee Alison reviewed many impressive women and their contributions. Ranee revealed, "Ultimately, Sharon Pinkenson was chosen for her dedication to Philadelphia's hard-working local crews, cast members and supporting businesses." During her tenure as Executive Director of the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, Sharon Pinkenson boosted economic development by more than $5 Billion. She will join 39 other women who have been selected for the new book, Philly Girl: Top 40 Women Who Have Changed the World available online and in local stores next month.
