Animaglass Launches Modular iPhone Cases with Interchangeable 3D Backplates

BUCHAREST, Romania - Aug. 17, 2026 - PRLog -- Animaglass has launched a modular iPhone case system built around interchangeable magnetic lenticular backplates. The system allows customers to keep one protective case frame and change its artwork by swapping the backplate.

Unlike an ordinary printed case, each Animaglass backplate combines specially prepared artwork with a physical lenticular lens surface. As the phone moves, the image reveals visible depth, changing perspectives and motion-like effects without using electronics, applications or glasses.

The removable backplates attach magnetically to the case and are designed as individual pieces of portable artwork. Customers can choose a complete case-and-backplate combination or add separate backplates to an existing compatible Animaglass case.

The current collection includes designs for selected recent iPhone models, including iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro. Case frames are offered in multiple colours, allowing customers to combine the same artwork with different visual styles.

Animaglass products are produced and quality-checked in Romania. Because lenticular imagery depends on precise alignment and optical consistency, every backplate passes through several manufacturing and inspection stages before it is offered for sale.

The system was developed for people who want a phone case that can change without replacing the entire case. New artwork can be added over time while the main protective frame remains in use.
