Subaru of Indiana Automotive announces supplier award winners

LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Aug. 17, 2026 - PRLog -- Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) has recognized 24 suppliers for exceptional performance over the past year.

"We are honored to recognize the outstanding suppliers who have consistently demonstrated exceptional performance in both quality and delivery," said Ed Wulbrecht, senior vice president, supply chain. "From nearly 260 partners supporting our operations, this select group has distinguished itself through a strong commitment to excellence."

Winners received awards across three categories:

Special Recognition – Above and beyond effort as identified by SIA management
Commodity Leader – Top scoring supplier in commodity category
Excellent Performance – Achievement of SIA targets for safety, quality, cost and delivery

Eight companies had the distinction of receiving two awards, while Superior Industries International was the only company to earn three — with an award in each category.

"Their dedication, reliability, and alignment with our shared vision play a vital role in our ongoing success," said Wulbrecht. "We appreciate their partnership and continued commitment to the highest standards."

SIA is Subaru's only manufacturing facility outside of Japan and currently builds the Ascent, Crosstrek, Forester and Forester Hybrid models for North America. Since production began in 1989, more than  6 million Subaru vehicles have been built. The following is the complete list of winners:
