New Publishing Company launched

SLIGO, Ireland - Sept. 6, 2026 - PRLog -- A new publishing company has just launched in Sligo, the county that inspired great Irish writers of the Celtic literary revival such as W.B. Yeats. It will be publishing local writers such as Stella Durand who has already had three books published by other publishers.

Gaia Neos will be publishing books, ebooks and audiobooks in the areas of poetry, children's books, practical wisdom, ecology, holistic health, mythology and mind body spirit.

The first book is The Green Living Guide, by local writer Edward Durand, which can give us the skills to thrive in harmony with nature. The book, and the publishing company, will have a launch event in The Nest, Custom House Quay, Sligo in early September. It will feature harp music, a brief talk, a reading from the book, refreshments and a chance to get a signed copy.

Other interesting books planned include Life Hacks: Tips of Practical Wisdom to Enhance your Life, Woven Prophecies, A Treasury of Money-Saving Tips: Living for Less to Help Save the Planet, Mythological Sites of Sligo and Poetry of the Irish Celtic Literary Revival.

Gaia Neos is the brainchild of local writer Edward Durand, who sees the need for a publishing company in the land of hearts desire, muse of the land of saints and scholars. The website can be found here https://gaianeos.com/
