BankPilot launches across Europe: Automated payment monitoring for landlords and small businesses

COLOGNE, Germany - Aug. 14, 2026 - PRLog -- Fundation GmbH is launching BankPilot. The new platform helps users automatically monitor recurring incoming and outgoing payments. At launch, the service is aimed primarily at landlords in Germany and Europe.

Anyone who rents out multiple apartments is familiar with the monthly routine: checking bank statements, reconciling rent payments, updating Excel spreadsheets, and identifying who hasn't paid yet. BankPilot reduces precisely this manual effort.

To do this, users connect their bank account to BankPilot via Open Banking. BankPilot relies on Tink, a subsidiary of Visa and one of the most trusted and established providers in the European Open Banking market. Users then specify which payments are expected on a regular basis. The platform subsequently automatically compares actual account transactions with these specifications. For example, if a rent payment is missing or an incoming payment differs from the expected amount, BankPilot notifies the user. Regular debits such as building maintenance fees, utility bills, or other recurring invoices, as well as credits, can also be monitored.

Users can create the rules themselves. In addition, the integrated AI can help identify recurring payment patterns in the account and suggest appropriate rules.

"We're familiar with this problem from our own daily experience as landlords. Monitoring rent payments isn't a complicated task, but it repeats itself every month. We're automating exactly this routine: quickly, easily, and transparently for all landlords in Europe," says co-founder Christopher Krause on the launch of BankPilot.

In addition to landlords, BankPilot is also aimed at small businesses and self-employed individuals who want to regularly monitor their income and expenses. The underlying principle is always the same: expected inflows or outflows are defined and then automatically reconciled with actual account transactions.

BankPilot is now available in German, English, French, and Spanish. The platform was developed in Germany and relies on a European data infrastructure.

The introductory price is 9.99 euros per month or 99 euros per year. Additionally, interested users can test BankPilot for 30 days free of charge.

With BankPilot, Fundation GmbH is pursuing the long-term goal of building the best solution for monitoring recurring payment flows in Europe. The focus is not on yet another banking app that displays as many accounts and account balances as possible. BankPilot is designed to help in areas where monitoring is still done manually today, so that the constant monitoring of payment flows can once again become what it was meant to be: a quick glance when something actually happens.
