ICT Innovations Open Sources Streaming TTS for Live Calls and 21 CRM Connectors

MULTAN, Pakistan - Aug. 13, 2026 - PRLog -- ICT Innovations has released two libraries from its own contact center stack as open source. Both were extracted from ICTContact, generalized until they no longer depend on any ICT product, and published under the MIT licence to the package registry each ecosystem already uses.

The first, piper-tts-server, handles streaming text to speech on live phone calls. Anyone who has connected the Piper speech engine to a call knows the symptoms: silence before the greeting, the first words missing, or a caller who hears only the tail of each sentence. The library packages the three fixes that make Piper work inside a real time loop. Voices load once per process instead of costing between 2.5 and 5.5 seconds on every utterance. Synthesis runs behind a single lock, because the espeak-ng phonemizer underneath Piper is not thread safe and concurrent calls otherwise corrupt each other.
