NOWINCLUDED's Clear the Air Brings Free Lung Health Resources & Family Giveaways to Houston

HOUSTON - Aug. 13, 2026 - PRLog -- NOWINCLUDED, powered by Acclinate, will host Clear the Air: a free back-to-school bash and wellness day focused on lung health, on Saturday, August 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at KBC Houston, 6011 West Orem Drive, Houston, TX 77085. The event marks the second stop in NOWINCLUDED'SClear the Air series and returns to KBC Houston, where the community platform has built a growing relationship with local families. The free, family-friendly event opens with a community mixer and vendor fair featuring more than 10 local health and community partners, live music, and light refreshments.

Programming includes an "Ask the Doctor" session with Dr. Susan Gaeta, Associate Professor in Emergency Medicine at MD Anderson, who will discuss lung health and disease prevention and take live questions from attendees, and a screening of Acclinate's documentary, Houston's Fifth Ward Exposed, a 17th

Annual Shorty Awards finalist, exploring air quality, the documented cancer cluster, and environmental health in Houston's Fifth Ward. Democratic nominee for Harris County Judge Dr. Letitia Plummer will also join the program to speak on the importance of lung health and the need to make clinical research more inclusive of communities that have historically been left out.

"Lung health doesn't get talked about enough in our communities, and that silence has a cost," said Tiffany Whitlow, Co-founder of Acclinate. "Clear the Air is about creating a space where families can get real answers, in a setting that feels like home, and walk away with practical tools to protect their health."

Families attending can also enjoy an interactive free lunch, a back-to-school supply giveaway for the first 100 families, up to $250 in giveaways throughout the day, and a chance to win an air purifier.
