Coventry Author Launches Three Books Supporting Education, Wellbeing and Charities

COVENTRY, U.K. - Aug. 13, 2026 - PRLog -- COVENTRY, England — Coventry-based educational writer, Itoro Abigeal Oyewobi has successfully launched three books promoting education, confidence, emotional awareness, resilience, and lifelong readiness.

Itoro unveiled My Ready Helper, The Prepared Teen, and EdgeCraft at a Civic Triple Book Launch and Charity Fundraiser held at Jubilee Crescent Community Centre in Coventry on August 12, 2026.

The well-attended event brought together civic representatives, Coventry councillors, education professionals, charities, businesses, and community organizations.

Deputy Lord Mayor of Coventry Councillor Julia Lepoidevin delivered a civic speech and congratulatory message before performing the ceremonial ribbon cutting and formally unveiling the books.

Coventry North West MP Taiwo Owatemi also attended and delivered a congratulatory message celebrating the author's educational and charitable initiative.

Representatives from Coventry's Central Library attended alongside, Coventry Councillors, CWCC, Pet-XI UK, other Corporate and Community organizations.

The books form a connected educational journey through three stages of life. My Ready Helper, primarily written for children aged eight to 12, follows Henry as he learns about emotions, confidence, friendship, identity, responsibility, and seeking help.

The Prepared Teen, aimed at young people aged 13 to 18, addresses academic pressure, self-doubt, relationships, emotional well-being, and uncertainty about the future. It encourages self-awareness, resilience, communication, and responsible decision-making.

EdgeCraft extends the journey into adulthood, exploring how people can navigate technological, professional, and social change through adaptability, curiosity, sound judgement, and continuous learning.

"Although the books address different age groups, they share one central message: readiness is a lifelong practice," Oyewobi said.

"We may not be able to predict every challenge people will experience, but we can help them understand themselves, strengthen useful skills, and recognize when they need support."

The books encourage earlier and more open conversations about emotional well-being. They are educational and personal-development resources rather than substitutes for professional mental-health care.

A major feature of the launch was Oyewobi's presentation of giant checks to Tiny Tim's Children's Centre, Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, and Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire.

The presentations represented her commitment to donate 100 percent of her authorship royalties from the books to community charities and grassroots initiatives.

"Every book represents two investments—an investment in the reader's development and an investment in the community," Oyewobi said.

The successful event also generated networking and discussions about school programs, sponsored book donations, reading activities, community workshops, mentoring initiatives, and workplace well-being.

Parents, schools, libraries, charities, employers, and community groups are invited to purchase the books, sponsor copies for young readers, or explore educational partnerships with the author.

The books are published by Theorem Publishers and distributed globally through the IngramSpark distribution network. They are available through participating booksellers and major online retailers.
