LONDON, United Kingdom – 14 August 2026 – A new compact dual-battery foldable e-bike designed for city professionals is preparing to launch on Indiegogo on or just after 29 August 2026. The exact date will be confirmed on the project's preview page shortly.

e Ant™ has been developed to address common problems faced by people living and working in cities, particularly those in flats with limited storage who regularly combine cycling with trains or buses. Many full-sized e-bikes prove impractical in small homes and difficult to manage on public transport. Comfort is another frequent issue, with riders often dealing with stiff frames on poor urban roads, while limited battery range can create additional uncertainty during the day.

The bike features a compact folding design intended to make storage and multi-modal travel more straightforward, full suspension for improved comfort on city roads, and a dual-battery system offering more than 120 miles of range.

The project is led by Wise Timuri, founder and CEO, who previously launched the mobility product EKOOter™ and later recovered from a serious cervical spine condition. That experience, he says, reinforced the need to design around real daily constraints rather than ideal conditions. Beyond the bike itself, the wider plan includes e Ant Club, a community initiative that will use gamification — including activities such as treasure hunts and tree-planting missions — to encourage more active travel without framing it as formal exercise.

More than 2,700 people have joined the waitlist so far, with a substantial proportion already placing deposits. Early backers are expected to receive the bike at a significant discount to its planned retail price.
