Charcroft named Sensata Channel Partner of the Year

LLANWRTYD WELLS, Wales - Aug. 11, 2026 - PRLog -- Charcroft Electronics Ltd., - a specialist distributor and manufacturer of electronic components - has been named Channel Partner of the Year by Sensata Technologies, after achieving the highest percentage growth in industrial components of all Sensata distributors across Europe.

"The long-standing partnership between Sensata and Charcroft goes back over 20 years and has delivered continuous growth in virtually every year, including through the toughest of times," explains Charcroft director, Vicky Mellor.

For industrial applications, the key components have been circuit breakers, contactors, pressure sensors, and high-voltage relays. Mechanical customisation has been vital to enable components to be tailored to meet the specific needs of individual customers and systems. This customisation can include changes to the type of connection to simplify layout and assembly.

Some customers still are buying components which were first designed-in 20 years ago, in applications which include oil & gas, pipeline inspection, fire suppression, and medical trolleys in addition to using customised pressure switches.

Charcroft is trusted by customers to offer the deep knowledge and the willingness to support applications which must operate reliability in harsh working environments. In addition to the industrial sector, this support benefits customers in the mil-aero, rail, medical, and HVAC markets as well as specialist automotive and ATEX environments.

Sensata Technologies was established as an independent company in 2006 and has consistently added new brands to the franchise such as Airpax, BEI Sensors, Crydom, GIGAVAC, Kavlico and Klixon. www.charcroft.com
