"Wind Fly South" continues to build momentum, having already secured two wins and awaiting the outcomes of two additional awards. The winners of the 2026 InterContinental Music Awards will be announced August 23. The winners of the 2026 Indie Music Channel Awards will be announced during the awards ceremony on September 6 in Hollywood, California. "I never wrote 'Wind Fly South' thinking about awards," Hawkins says. "I wrote it because I had a story to tell. The Delta Blues has always been about storytelling, emotion, and truth, and that's what I tried to bring to this song.
