AileyCamp Baltimore to Present 2026 Finale Performance, "Every Moment Matters," August 6th

BALTIMORE - Aug. 6, 2026 - PRLog -- AileyCamp Baltimore will present its 2026 Finale Performance, "Every Moment Matters," tonight, Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Baltimore Center Stage, 700 N. Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD 21202. The performance marks the culmination of AileyCamp Baltimore's tuition-free, six-week summer program, which uses dance and creative expression to build confidence, discipline, and leadership in Baltimore middle schoolers ages 11 to 14.

Since 2015, AileyCamp Baltimore has offered the program at no cost to campers from Baltimore City Public Schools, rooted in the legacy of Alvin Ailey and the belief that every young person deserves the space to discover their potential. This summer's Finale Performance celebrates the growth, artistry, and confidence campers have built over six weeks of training, under instructors including Jade Arzu and Leslie Jones, in an evening of original choreography set to music composed by DiAndree Dukes.

"Every Moment Matters is about honoring the journey these young people have taken this summer, not just the steps they've learned, but the confidence and discipline they've built along the way," said Diedre Dawkins, Program Director of AileyCamp Baltimore. "Each performance is proof of what's possible when young people are given the space to discover their potential."

The public is invited to attend the free performance and to support AileyCamp Baltimore so the program remains tuition-free for every camper. Seating is first come, first served, guests are encouraged to give $25 or more to reserve their seat. Gifts of $50 or more include VIP Reception access ahead of the show. Those unable to attend can still support AileyCamp Baltimore's campers by giving through CllctivGive's "One Day to Give Together" campaign on Friday, August 7th, a citywide day of giving benefiting Baltimore nonprofits.

Looking ahead, AileyCamp Baltimore aims to grow into a year-round program open to young people beyond Baltimore City Public Schools. Support from donors, sponsors, and community partners is central to making that vision possible.
