Cathay Pacific has announced that the animated feature I'm Bond, GG Bond will debut exclusively on StudioCX, the airline's inflight entertainment system, starting 1 April 2026. Passengers travelling on Cathay Pacific's long-haul services can enjoy the film thousands of metres above the ground.

Produced by Winsing Animation, I'm Bond, GG Bond marks the 20th anniversary of the iconic GG Bond franchise. The heartwarming comedy follows the beloved character as he pursues his acting dream and stages an inspiring comeback. Blending humour and touching moments, the film appeals to long-time fans of all ages as well as families travelling together.

This launch represents the global inflight premiere of the title. Cathay Pacific's StudioCX continues to expand its library of premium Chinese-language productions for international travellers. The film features Mandarin audio with optional English and Chinese subtitles, catering to passengers travelling between Greater China, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Americas.

On flights equipped with personal seatback screens, passengers can search and stream the film directly via StudioCX during their journey.
