A Couple Turned Household Arguments Into an App That Brings Partners Closer

CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania - Aug. 4, 2026 - PRLog -- Most couples don't argue because one partner refuses to help around the house. After experiencing the same frustration for years, Romanian founders Adela and Ovidiu Neacșu decided to turn household responsibilities into a game.

The result became the Cutest Couple App, a couple organizer that helps partners plan daily responsibilities, personal goals, and shared activities while making teamwork rewarding instead of stressful.

After nearly ten years together, Adela felt she was constantly thinking about everything that needed to be done and rarely felt recognized for it. Ovidiu believed he was contributing just as much, only in different ways. Neither felt fully understood.

As data analysts, they listed every recurring responsibility in their household. The list quickly grew to more than 65 tasks, including cleaning, groceries, appointments, family planning and personal development.

They organized the responsibilities into daily, weekly, monthly and yearly plans so neither partner had to carry the mental burden of remembering everything. Each completed task earned coins and experience points, making every contribution visible and turning everyday organization into a collaborative game.

"We stopped asking each other what needed to be done every morning. Instead, we opened the app and started helping wherever we could. Without realizing it, we weren't just doing chores anymore; we were playing a game together," says Ovidiu Neacșu, co-founder of Cutest Couple App.

Within weeks, their conversations began to change. Instead of debating who had done more, both partners could finally see the full picture. Appreciation gradually replaced assumptions.

"Before we created the system, I mostly saw my own effort. Once everything became visible, I started noticing how much he was doing too," says Adela Neacșu, co-founder of Cutest Couple App.

What began as a personal experiment eventually evolved into a mobile application.
