Canadian author Charles Edward Scheideman says North American Natives were fortunate that their explorers and settlers had not arrived 1,000 years earlier, because that could have resulted in their extermination.

He writes, "History cannot be changed by lying, ignoring it, or pretending that it is not a fact of our existence."

Canada is not the only country that has rewritten its own history or destroyed the documentation of Aboriginal mistreatment or slaughter. Many nations have attempted to end their Native culture, replacing it with what was deemed the more "acceptable," "civilized," or "superior" behavior of its new population. In Canada, Native children were taken from their parents and sent to Native residential schools, where their own culture was lost to them forever.

Even though Canadians are now being taught that the old history is wrong, there are still Revisionists who insist on spreading Canada's false Native "history." These attempts to rewrite history need to be replaced with the truth, and only the truth.
