531metronome Gets Major Update With Four Sound Styles And Pattern Saving

TOKYO, Japan - July 31, 2026 - PRLog -- 531record released a major update to 531metronome, its metronome app for iPhone and iPad, on July 31, 2026.

The update adds four selectable sound styles: Click, Rock, Jazz and Cajon. Musicians can choose a sound that better fits the instrument, song or practice setting, making daily rhythm practice feel less mechanical and more engaging.

Each beat can be set individually as Normal, Accent 1, Accent 2 or Rest. This makes it possible to create a wide range of patterns, from standard meters to detailed accent structures and complex time signatures.

Frequently used settings can now be saved and recalled. Tempo, time signature, sound style, accents and rests can be prepared for each song or practice routine, reducing the need to rebuild the same setup every time. A reset function has also been added for returning presets to their initial state.

The app continues to support tap tempo, swing for eighth-note and sixteenth-note patterns, background playback and play/stop controls from the lock screen. The update also improves behavior when Bluetooth audio devices are connected and includes general usability and stability improvements.
