BANC3 Introduces SkyGrid™, a Software-Defined RF Platform for Multi-Orbit Space Operations

PRINCETON, N.J. - July 24, 2026 - PRLog -- Princeton, New Jersey — BANC3, Inc., a defense product company specializing in space spectrum surveillance, signal intelligence (SIGINT), and software-defined radio (SDR) systems, today announced SkyGrid™, a software-defined RF infrastructure platform designed to support multi-domain space operations.

SkyGrid™ operates across a 1–36 GHz frequency range with dual transmit/receive channels, enabling a single payload to support intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), communications, and spectrum monitoring missions rather than requiring a separate, dedicated system for each function. The platform is built with low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) requirements, allowing the same underlying architecture to support both CubeSat-class deployments and larger, GEO-scale payloads.

SkyGrid™ also incorporates AI-driven link management, including real-time waveform adaptation, dynamic beamforming, and anti-jam resilience, intended to help maintain reliable communications links in contested electromagnetic environments.

"Space missions increasingly require systems that can adapt to new requirements after they're already in orbit," said a BANC3 spokesperson. "SkyGrid™ was built around that principle from the start — a single, reconfigurable payload architecture rather than a fixed-purpose system that becomes outdated the moment mission requirements shift."

SkyGrid™ is designed to integrate across a range of spacecraft platforms and orbital regimes, supporting customers seeking flexible, upgradeable RF infrastructure for national security and space situational awareness missions. The platform is available to qualified U.S. government and allied defense customers.

Organizations interested in learning more about SkyGrid™ or discussing potential mission applications can contact BANC3 directly through the company's website.
