SINGAPORE - July 20, 2026 - PRLog -- A Swiss innovator in electric drive solutions for vehicles and machinery, has partnered with igus to integrate maintenance-free drylin linear guides into its fully electric monotrac single-axis tractor, setting a new benchmark for sustainable agricultural and municipal technology.

Founded in 2022, novaziun develops and assembles electric mobility solutions designed for demanding professional applications. Its flagship product, the monotrac, combines electrification, sustainability and rugged engineering to deliver a powerful alternative to conventional combustion-engine machines. With up to 23 kW of power, 48 V battery technology and up to 24 kWh battery capacity, the monotrac is capable of operating throughout a full working day while eliminating exhaust emissions, reducing noise and minimizing vibration.

A standout feature of the machine is its optional active axis displacement system, which provides stepless adjustment over 300 mm to optimize the center of gravity when using heavy attachments such as sickle bars, snow-clearing equipment and mulchers weighing up to 400 kg. The result is improved traction, enhanced slope stability and easier handling in challenging terrain.

To achieve this functionality, novaziun selected igus drylin linear guide systems, renowned for their lubrication-free, maintenance-free operation. Traditional ball-bearing linear systems were ruled out due to their lubrication requirements, larger installation footprints and maintenance demands.

The solution incorporates drylin R linear bearings, fixed and floating bearing arrangements, and aluminium shafts. Made from tribologically optimized high-performance plastics, the bearings feature integrated solid lubricants, enabling smooth operation without external grease or oil. This not only reduces maintenance costs but also prevents lubricant contamination of soil and the surrounding environment.

For agricultural and municipal equipment operating in harsh outdoor conditions, the benefits are significant. The drylin linear guides are highly resistant to dirt, dust and moisture, do not corrode and can be cleaned easily, ensuring reliable performance even in demanding environments.

igus also supported the development process with its online design configurator, allowing engineers to quickly validate loads, travel distances and service life calculations based on extensive real-world testing data.
