Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival Marks Fifth Year with International Performers & Classic Productions

ATLANTA - July 20, 2026 - PRLog -- Opera lovers visiting Israel this summer can experience world-class performances at the fifth annual Jerusalem Lyric Opera Festival, taking place July 26–30 across some of Jerusalem's premier cultural venues.

The five-day festival will bring together acclaimed artists from Israel and around the world for a celebration of opera, chamber music and vocal performance. This year's program features productions of Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Così fan tutte, along with concerts dedicated to the music of George Frideric Handel and Antonio Vivaldi, as well as a special program honoring works composed by Jewish women during the Second World War.

Festival performances will be presented at several of Jerusalem's leading cultural institutions, including the Jerusalem Theater, the Bible Lands Museum, Beit Shmuel, the Harmony Cultural Center and Sergei's Courtyard. The program includes full opera productions, chamber music, baroque concerts, recitals and operetta performances.

The festival will also host its annual Summer Opera Studio, offering advanced training, mentorship and performance opportunities for emerging opera singers from Israel and abroad.
