La Jolla Montessori School Awarded "Best Preschool" in La Jolla, California

LA JOLLA, Calif. - July 13, 2026 - PRLog -- La Jolla Montessori School (LJMS), a premier early childhood education provider located in the heart of the community, has officially been named the Best Preschool in La Jolla by Best of 2026 BusinessRate. This prestigious accolade highlights the school's unwavering commitment to foundational academic excellence, language immersion, and holistic child development.

Serving children from ages 6 months through Kindergarten, La Jolla Montessori School has distinguished itself as a leader in early education by seamlessly integrating an authentic English/Spanish bilingual immersion program directly into the time-tested Montessori methodology. "We are incredibly honored and deeply grateful to our wonderful families and the La Jolla community for this recognition," said Dr. Heather Davis, Director of La Jolla Montessori School. "This award is a direct testament to our dedicated, passionate guides who cultivate an environment where children don't just memorize facts—they truly fall in love with learning, self-reliance, and discovery in two languages."

LJMS stands out for its unique "whole child" approach, offering tailored environments for every stage of early growth:

• Infant "Nido" Program: Nurturing trust, movement, and sensory exploration for ages 6 to 24 months.
• Toddler Program: Fostering early independence, self-respect, and awareness for ages 18 months to 3 years.
• Primary & Kindergarten Program: Utilizing mixed-age classrooms where peer-to-peer learning helps younger students flourish while giving older children leadership and social confidence.

By employing highly trained English and Spanish speaking guides who observe each child's individual strengths, LJMS customizes a learning pace that stimulates intellectual, artistic, and social growth. This community-wide recognition solidifies the school's reputation as the gold standard for parents seeking a nurturing, high-impact preschool experience in San Diego County.
